Pelican in October was Perfect

We celebrated our 20th anniversary with a week at Pelican during the NICHE (Nevis Island Culinary Heritage Event) Food Festival last October.The first night was a BBQ at the Oualie Beach Hotel next door. We spent our days watching the pelicans fly by and the ferries go back and forth to St. Kitts. The pool was marvelous. We ate in for breakfast and lunch and had dinner out every night. At most, there were 2 other couples during part of our stay, and the rest of the time we had the property to ourselves (with Steve &Kathryn of course). We even saw monkeys, about 100 yards away one day as we drove out (need the binoculars). A perfect place for those who like to read and just lay back and enjoy tranquility in a lovely setting.
